#BloombergConnects instameet

One of the best parts about participating in the Chicago Instagram community is the cool photo ops that come our way. Instagram is a great photo sharing app, but it’s also a powerful networking tool.

Last night was no exception as a bunch of us visited the Art Institute after-hours for Bloomberg Philanthropies’ first Chicago-Based #BloombergConnects Instameet.  We took an intimate tour through some of the Art Institute’s most famous pieces and took a ton of photos along the way.

The #BloombergConnects Art program uses technology to connect people around the world to art, and improves the experience of visiting a museum. One of the many ways they do that is by supporting technology in museums. Needless to say, a bunch of Chicago-based Instagrammers getting creative in one of the world’a top art museums definitely fits that bill.
