Photo Blog | Don’t worry Chicago…Spring has sprung

I think it is safe to say spring has officially “sprung” in the Chicagoland area. Despite the cooler-then-normal temperatures and wicked weather we had last week, the sun is finally shining and it appears the mercury will start rising…albeit slowly. I took these pictures this weekend where I spent my time at my parent’s house. Interesting story about the Magnolia flowers…The bush itself is about 25 feet tall. I couldn’t reach the flowers from the ground, so I hopped on my roof. I was actually helping my dad scrape/prep some of the siding for new paint when I realized I had a good photo op. Luckily, I didn’t fall off.
