The Fall Spectrum
The colors of fall were spectacular in Chicago this year. So much so, that Amy and I spent a few hours gathering all the leaves we could, in every shade we could find in order to do document the extreme variance and beauty via photos. Once we got home, we pressed them for about a day to reign in any major curling. Once we were ready to shoot, Amy expertly laid them out in a gradient on our coffee table and I had the easy job of simply shooting the subject from above.
Today, the color is gone, the trees are bare, and winter is beginning to take hold, but if you want to relive this particularly vivid autumn in Chicago, check out my Flickr set; “Fall, in love”
